How Can Pain In The Upper Stomach Between The Two Breasts be Treated?
For the last 3days I have had a pain upper stomach right between the two breasts. The pain intensifies and only gets released when I go to the bathroom and have a bowel movement. So I am having roughly 6 to 8 bowel movements a day. Is this normal? Sometimes I feel nauseous with the pain
It can be functional bowel problem or acid reflux. For that you can be prescribed antacid drug course. It's advisable to maintain hydration with lots of water. Avoid intake of excess spicy foods. Smoking and stress should be avoided. You can take a probiotic tablet course also for a week.
If no improvement than gastroenterologist should be consulted for a detailed evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
